Turkey Shoot-Out (TSO) NW was established in 2004 by Ken and Karen Vartanian. Their vision for TSO was to raise funds to give to military families in SW Washington experiencing financial difficulties as a result of long-term deployments to the Persian Gulf. Over the past 18 years, TSO NW has evolved to a 501(c)(3) that has raised over 1 million dollars supporting a broad range of assistance and services for local Veterans and their families. We are proud to have developed strong relationships with numerous charitable organizations that support those who have proudly served and defended our nation. Continued support is making a difference in the lives of so many.

VA Fisher House:"A home away from home for families of Veterans and military service members who are hospitalized at the Portland VA Medical Center acute care hospital or who are residents of the Vancouver WA Community Living Center or Residential Rehab and Treatment Program. There is no charge for families staying at the Fisher House."

A fun day on the course with a hosted lunch after.
TSO NW presents two fundraising events each year; a semi-formal Gala and a Golf Tournament. The Gala is a fun and special Saturday evening of fine dining, silent and live auction, guest speakers and music. Most of our auction items and experiences are donated. The annual Golf Tournament is held Sunday morning. The event is a four person scramble with opportunities to sponsor, donate, eat, drink and enjoy a round of golf at Royal Oaks Country Club!
Year after year, the two TSO NW events have highlighted the impressive generosity of people who support local Veterans and their families! We are inspired, motivated to give, and humbled by the sacrifice our military Veterans have endured to protect the freedoms we all enjoy!
